Private Equity Real Estate – Associate
Role Overview
The firm is seeking an Associate to join its Private Equity Real Estate Investment Team. The role involves supporting the evaluation, execution, and management of real estate investments across sectors and geographies. The Associate will work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the full investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Execution
* Support sourcing, screening, and evaluation of potential real estate investment opportunities.
* Develop and review detailed financial models, including acquisition, development, joint venture, and asset-level cash flow models.
* Perform valuation analysis, sensitivity testing, and return assessments.
* Prepare investment memoranda and materials for internal review and investment committee approval.
Due Diligence & Transaction Support
* Coordinate and support commercial, financial, legal, tax, and technical due diligence processes.
* Review third-party reports and data room materials.
* Assist in transaction execution, including coordination with advisors, counterparties, and financing providers.
* Support the review and negotiation of transaction documentation.
Portfolio & Asset Management
* Monitor performance of portfolio investments against underwriting assumptions.
* Support the implementation of approved business plans, including development, repositioning, refinancing, and exit processes.
* Analyze operating performance, budgets, capital expenditure programs, and market developments.
Market Research & Strategy
* Conduct market and sector research to support investment decisions.
* Analyze comparable transactions, leasing activity, and capital markets trends.
* Contribute to thematic and strategic investment analysis.
Professional Experience
* 4–6 years of relevant experience in private equity real estate, real estate investment banking, principal investing, asset management, or a related advisory role.
* Demonstrated experience in transaction execution and financial analysis.
Technical Skills
* Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
* Solid understanding of real estate fundamentals, capital structures, and investment return metrics.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
