RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Identify high-risk failure modes early in design life cycle.
* Identify sub-components that should be subject to endurance and fatigue testing (Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT)
* Collaborate with design engineering and architecture teams to reduce risk.
* Develop and perform laboratory tests for endurance and fatigue testing.
* Develop and perform Design Verification Tests (DVT)
* Support failure analysis, post sales product engineering, modeling/predicting of abnormal condition failure exposure, answer pre-sales reliability metrics like MTTR, MTBF, etc.
* Understands the “designed for Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability” attitude.
* Assist engineering and manufacturing teams with DFMEAs, PFMEA, Supplier Reliability, etc.
* Familiarity with electronics circuit design and System design.
YOU HAVE:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Ideally 5+ years of professional experience in electronic circuit design and system development and manufacture.
* Data-driven approach with deep analytical skills and strong attention to detail
* Ability to handle multiple projects at once
* Ability to complete tests and resolve problems in an unattended manner (self-starter)
* Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
