We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an IT specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customer environments within our managed services framework.
The tasks include conception, installation and configuration of virtual servers and Kubernetes clusters, setup and maintenance of virtual networks, VPN endpoints and configuration of firewalls.
You will also perform installations, configurations and maintenance (updates, upgrades) of applications, including a focus on container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Furthermore, you will monitor systems and applications, control and document regular backups, oversee and further develop monitoring solutions, and provide technical support to our customers in areas such as creating, providing and executing containers.
A rotating shift is expected. In exceptional cases, overtime work may be required outside regular working hours.
Close cooperation with development teams is also expected to optimize deployment and operation processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. Alternatively, relevant experience in IT and Linux system administration can be considered.
Requirements
* Practical experience with DevOps, preferably with Kubernetes and container technologies.
* Understanding of network technology, firewalls and IT security.
* Self-motivated, structured way of working and high reliability.
* Pleasure in customer contact and willingness to take responsibility.
* Excellent German language skills.
* Location ideally near Nuremberg, regular presence at the office required.
