Your responsibilities
1. Represent the Security organization in internal and external committees, ensuring alignment with overall security objectives
2. Lead overarching projects in coordination with the Security Officer, focusing on standardization, digitalization, and improvement of security processes
3. Monitor, analyze, and report security metrics and incidents to the Security Officer to support decision-making and continuous improvement
4. Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive security concepts for all office and site locations, taking into account NIS2 and KRITIS requirements
5. Continuously identify physical security vulnerabilities and define, implement, and monitor appropriate safeguard measures
6. Conduct regular audits at sites to evaluate both physical and digital security measures and ensure processes are effectively followed
7. Serve as the main point of contact for advisory support across all areas of physical security, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of security measures
8. Perform all ISMS-related tasks within the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with information security standards
9. Act as the contact person for questions regarding information security in the assigned area, while considering related physical security aspects
10. Prepare and actively participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security processes
11. Assess and ensure compliance of security measures for IT systems and building technologies, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems
12. Support sites in emergency management readiness by planning, preparing, and conducting regular tests and exercises to maintain operational preparedness
Your profile
13. University degree in information technology, security technology, or a comparable field
14. Relevant professional experience with a focus on security technology and risk management, including areas such as security services, physical security, loss prevention, investigations, supply chain, auditing, or compliance
15. Minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience with security systems, including access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and security incident management
16. Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 and practical experience with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
17. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for utilities and critical infrastructure
18. Excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proven experience in cross-departmental collaboration
19. Team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in collaborative environments
20. ISO 27001 Foundation or Practitioner certification is desirable
21. Professional security certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) are advantageous
22. Emergency management training or certification is a plus to support preparedness and testing at sites
23. Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, enabling clear communication of security requirements and processes
24. Valid Class B driving license and willingness to travel to site locations as required
