PositionSummary The Healthcare Consulting Solutions (HCS) DesignVisualization Expert (DVE) will use their knowledge and expertisein design and visualization of laboratory layouts to createComputer-Aided Designed (CAD) drawings of customer facilities thatwill help facilitate solution design for Siemens Healthineerscustomers seeking to upgrade their clinical diagnostics testingequipment. The DVE will be a critical partner to Sales, Consultingand Implementation teams in ensuring solution designs are approvedby critical stakeholders (Customer, third-party equipmentmanufacturers etc.) to facilitate seamless transition from solutiondesign and solution sale to solution implementation. The DVEConsultant supports the Operational Excellence Consultant and SalesManager in developing accurate plans for preliminary and finallayouts, workflow supporting data, and implementation strategy forDiagnostic solutions. The DVE is responsible for the generation ofhigh-quality documentation and output (specification packets fortenders, components packets for quoting purposes) to support thesales team in providing the most suitable offer to the customers.They will provide architects, facilities and contractorsenvironmental requirements (water, power, waste, air, heatgeneration, etc.) helping customers design plans to achieve sitereadiness for our various solutions according to definedenvironmental and equipment specific requirements, as well as anylocal regulation. They also place orders and track delivery forAutomation systems and components. Qualified candidates must haveexperience using the standards, tools and technologies commonlyemployed in the Architecture, Engineering, and Constructionindustry, with solid experience in healthcare / laboratoryprojects. Some of these tools include but are not limited toAutoDesk family of products (AutoCAD, Revit, others), technologyfor digital capture and modeling of construction sites, creation ofDigital Twins, visualization of construction spaces in VirtualReality and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), 3D modelling and othervisualization and design techniques. Further, a good understandingof clinical laboratory processes is required to deliver HCSservices with the appropriate context for our customers. Your tasksand responsibilities: As a Design Visualization Expert, you willplay a central role in shaping our customers' laboratory solutions.In this position, you will: - Collaborate closely with theOperational Excellence Consultant to understand customer needs andidentify challenges that must be addressed to enable best‐in‐classclinical diagnostic services. - Use AutoCAD and related designtools to create highly accurate production drawings, includingarchitectural, electrical, water, informatics, and other utilityrequirements. - Engage with customer facility teams andarchitectural partners to ensure compliance with SiemensHealthineers and track supplier's design standards. - Apply digitaltechnologies to create digital twins of laboratory spaces anddevelop 3D renderings (Labview Lite) that clearly demonstrateSiemens Healthineers laboratory equipment solutions. You will alsodrive the use of AR/VR tools to deliver impactful design sessions.- Lead and coordinate the approval process and act as the zoneinterface for AutoCAD drawing submissions to the track supplier, aswell as the handover to Siemens Healthineersimplementation/installation teams. - Leverage your understanding ofclinical laboratory processes to conduct KPI assessments andprepare customer presentations. - Contribute to tender responses,particularly for workflow‐related topics. - Support consultingtasks such as workload modeling, simulation database activities,dashboard data extraction from AMC, ADM, APM, SRS, and otherSiemens IT platforms, along with additional tasks relevant to HCSdesign and consulting activities. - Support the adoption andintegration of new technologies (e.g., Matterport). - Collaboratewith global HCS colleagues and contribute to continuous improvementacross the global HCS community.
