Job DescriptionA global industry leader is seeking an experienced HR Director to oversee cross-country HR operations across Europe. This hybrid role based in Düsseldorf combines strategic leadership with operational excellence, requiring strong knowledge of labour law, team development, and P&L-based HR decision-making across supply chain, manufacturing, IT, finance, and commercial functions.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic HR leadership and operational oversight across multiple European sites.Advise and support managers on workforce strategy, performance, and labour law matters.Lead negotiations and maintain strong partnerships with works councils.Oversee HR policies, business contracts, and ensure compliance with employment law.Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and monthly HR accounting.Direct recruitment processes and implement development programs across functions.Manage temporary staffing solutions and contract-based workforce requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement by using financial data (e.g. P&L) to drive HR initiatives.Required SkillsCompleted university degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.Proven progression and success in HR leadership roles across functions (e.g. manufacturing, logistics, IT, finance).Deep knowledge of European labour laws and co-determination frameworks.Experience in works council negotiation and stakeholder alignmentsFluency in English and at least one other European language (German, French, Spanish, or Italian preferred).Strong leadership, team motivation, and change management skills.Financial literacy and ability to interpret P&L statements to inform HR strategy.Willingness to travel across European locations as needed.Apply now or contact Kane Macey to learn more. #J-18808-Ljbffr
