As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will drive high-value sourcing projects, optimize supplier relationships, and contribute to delivering cost-efficient and compliant High Voltage Substations for renewable energy systems in Europe. What you will do:
* Support the Category Leader in developing procurement strategies
* Conduct supplier analysis and market research for informed decisions
* Assist with contract negotiations and supplier relationship management
* Identify cost-saving opportunities within the category
* Manage sourcing projects aligned with strategic goals
* Track and report supplier performance and compliance
* Ensure adherence to procurement policies and risk management practices
* Prepare and analyze procurement data for strategic insights
* Collaborate with stakeholders on category requirements and initiatives
* Support demand forecasting and planning within the category
What you bring & who you are:
* Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field
* Certifications in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are advantageous
* Practical experience in managing sourcing projects and supplier negotiations
* Expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation
* Strong analytical skills and understanding of procurement policies and risk management
* Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
* Effective communicator and negotiator with strong relationship-building skills
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a focus on value creation
* Proficient in English; German is an advantage; additional language skills are beneficial
