What you will do
The Senior Manager will apply strategic consulting expertise in purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing, and technology to elevate GEP. You will help drive our services and shape our company's future.
1. Contribute to the development and execution of the global strategy for the procurement consultancy practice.
2. Own client relationships and satisfaction levels.
3. Lead team efforts to ensure project and program objectives are achieved.
4. Develop and coach team members.
5. Enhance team understanding of client culture.
6. Identify new business opportunities and support efforts to expand client relationships.
7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring positive results.
8. Develop sourcing strategies and processes aligned with client goals and policies.
9. Interface with clients to understand sourcing and procurement requirements.
10. Develop recommendations that contribute to program objectives such as cost savings and transformation.
11. Lead sourcing, RFQ events, auctions, supplier management, and negotiations.
12. Utilize data sources for fact-based recommendations and complex analyses.
13. Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with clients.
What you should bring
* 7+ years of management consulting or combined consultancy and industry experience.
* Proven leadership ability.
* Excellent client management skills.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills for business problem solving.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Potential for business development.
* Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
* Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX is a plus.
* Fluency in German is mandatory.
