We are seeking an experienced HR Consultant to support project-based initiatives with a strong focus on German employment legislation. This role will provide expert HR advisory during complex organizational initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and organizational restructuring. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of German labor law with hands-on experience supporting strategic HR projects in international environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice on German employment legislation and ensure compliance across HR initiatives
* Advise on organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and related employment law implications
* Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to design and implement compliant HR solutions
* Assess HR risks and propose practical, legally compliant solutions during transformation projects
* Review and develop documentation, policies, and communications aligned with German labor requirement
* Support HR aspects of mergers & acquisitions especially in post-merger integration
Required Qualifications
* Seasoned experience in German employment law and HR compliance
* Background in HR consulting, HR Business Partnering or HR transactional processes optimization
* Ability to work with senior stakeholders in complex, multi-country environments
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Fluency in German and English
Desirable but not Essential Qualifications
* Direct experience working with or negotiating with Worker’s Councils (Betriebsrat)
* Experience in multinational organizations or consulting firms
