Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Buyer Customer Service Aerostructure Procurement (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Operations in Hamburg-Finkenwerder.
Your responsibilities:
6. Execute daily RFQs for spare parts and services to guarantee competitive pricing and rapid response
7. Define and implement category-specific purchasing strategies for aerostructure customer service
8. Lead sourcing activities including Calls for Tender (CFTs), market scouting, negotiation, supplier selection, and contracting
9. Manage contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and trans-national coordination
10. Oversee supplier performance, optimize customer value, and minimize total cost of ownership (TCO)
11. Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams
12. Support strategic supplier development to ensure capacity and technological maturity
13. Handle claim management related to contractual deviations, quality issues, or delivery delays
14. Initiate and implement cost-saving and value creation initiatives in cooperation with technical teams
Your profile:
15. Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain/logistics or comparable
16. Work experience in the areas of purchasing, contract management, and commercial administration
17. Experience in project management and process improvement
18. Confident handling of SAP and Google Workspace
19. Fluent English and advanced German, both spoken and written
