A Senior Legal Counsel M&A role is now open within an international industrial group, offering hands‑on ownership of transactions and close collaboration with a highly supportive legal team.
Key responsibilities:
* Leading the full lifecycle of M&A and joint venture projects, from early feasibility and structuring to signing, closing and integration
* Managing and coordinating external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
* Reviewing due diligence, drafting and aligning SPAs and JV agreements, and steering carve‑out topics
* Handling regulatory aspects including merger control and FDI filings
* Preparing internal approvals, compliance materials and transaction documentation
Ideal profile:
* Fully qualified German lawyer with 4+ years experience in Corporate/M&A
* Team‑oriented personality with a practical, hands‑on mindset
* Fluent German and excellent English
Work model & location:
* Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in the Hannover office
