With our exponential growth, we're seeking a Social Media Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team. The principal objective of the role is to drive growth and engagement for Joie’s social media platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, content obsessed, and passionate about social media and connecting with consumers in engaging ways on multiple social media platforms. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring that Joie’s marketing is consumer-first.
What you'll do
Strategy & Planning:
•Responsible for all social media content for the global brand, to be utilized on global social channels as well as localized by our regional partners for use on their country-specific accounts.
•Works closely with Brand Manager on tactics required to meet annual goals and align social media content with 360° content plan.
•Builds & maintains evergreen social media content collections for product marketing campaigns, educational content campaigns, and community engagement campaigns.
•Sets quarterly social KPI’s and tracks performance, regularly sharing reports, key learnings, and suggestions for improvement with the team.
•Brainstorms and proposes new and creative growth, engagement, and community building strategies for an enhanced brand experience on social.
Content Creation & Execution:
•Partners with in-house creative team to guide creation of visual assets for posts and stories.
•Ideates, films, and edits organic video content for short form video posts (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, etc.) and stories.
•Schedules and posts organic social media content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and distributes to regional partners.
Community & Collaboration
•Develops a community management strategy for the Global social profiles with the goal of building community with our followers, as well as engaging with and providing excellent service to our consumers.
•Supports our regional partners with social media best practices and guidance.
Tools & Innovation
•Responsible for all social software solutions, recommending new software as needed to improve workflow and output, and ensuring that all existing software is utilized efficiently.
•Stays on the pulse of current and emerging social media channels and makes recommendations for expanding Joie’s presence on strategic channels.
•Maintains excellence in social media understanding and acts as an ambassador for social enhancement within the business.
What you'll bring
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred.
•3–5 years of demonstrated success in social content strategy, creation, and community management.
•Excellent English writing skills with the ability to match and maintain brand tone of voice.
•Experience managing Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube accounts is required; TikTok experience is highly desirable.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Meta Business Manager and Ads Manager.
•Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking; solid knowledge of marketing analytics tools (e.g., Emplifi, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) with the ability to quickly learn new software.
•Experience with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and/or video editing software is a plus.
•Able to lead creative direction and self-produce short-form videos for social media.
•Experience in the consumer products industry, particularly in roles supporting eCommerce growth, is a plus.
•Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
•Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated, with excellent time management and decision-making skills to manage workflow and deadlines.
•Experience working in a multi-national organization is highly desirable.
•Able to work overtime as needed based on business demands.
•Domestic and international travel up to 10% may be required.
