Project Engineer – Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) | Hamburg | Food Industry
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer (Electrical Engineering) to support a high-impact project in the food industry, with a strong focus on electrical planning and automation .
This role addresses a critical capacity gap within the engineering team and offers the opportunity to contribute to complex industrial projects in a dynamic environment.
Your Responsibilities
* Electrical engineering planning for industrial projects
* Translating technical requirements into RFQs and specification documents
* Design and planning of switchgear and control cabinets (layout, placement, concept)
* Ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards
* Supporting automation and electrical engineering activities across project phases
Your Profile
* Degree or strong background in Electrical Engineering
* Proven experience in electrical planning in industrial environments
* Experience with switchgear / cabinet design and planning
* Ability to create technical specifications and RFQ documentation
* Knowledge of German standards and regulations
* German (required) – project language
* English (mandatory)
* Experience in the food industry is a strong advantage (liquid processing a plus)
Project Details
* Location: Hamburg
* Start: Summer–Autumn (part-time onboarding possible earlier)
* Workload: Full-time (~40h/week from summer)
* Travel: ~20% within Germany
* Work model: Primarily on-site, with occasional home office by agreement
