THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As an Art Director at Zalando Studios, you will support the development and execution of creative projects across multiple channels, helping shape the visual storytelling of the Zalando brand. We're looking for a skilled and ambitious creative with a strong portfolio in fashion, lifestyle, or advertising. You'll collaborate closely with senior creatives and cross-functional partners to bring bold, cohesive ideas to life — always with an eye for quality, innovation, and cultural relevance.
WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
* Contribute to 360° creative campaigns for Zalando and our partner brands, ensuring alignment with Zalando's Brand & Visual Guidelines.
* Develop and execute creative concepts in collaboration with strategists, copywriters, producers, designers, stylists, and other team members.
* Work independently on mid-sized creative briefs, while supporting senior team members on larger initiatives.
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to bring campaign ideas to life.
* Help source and collaborate with external talent such as photographers, directors, and stylists to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Maintain awareness of creative trends in fashion, culture, and media to ensure campaign relevance and originality.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
* You have a degree in Visual Communication, Design, Advertising, Fashion or equivalent experience.
* You have 3–5 years of experience in art direction within fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or advertising is essential. Experience working with global brands in this space is preferred.
* You have a portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking and concept execution across a range of media (print, digital, video, social).
* You have solid proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with photography and production workflows.
* You have a strong interest in fashion and contemporary culture — you stay up to date on trends across fashion, design, and social media.
* You have an eye for detail, visual storytelling, and craft — with a clear understanding of how to execute ideas to a high standard.
* You have good communication and presentation skills; confident in articulating ideas to team members and stakeholders.
* You are organised and reliable, with the ability to manage time and tasks across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* You are fluent in English.
