Associate Director, Customer Partner Financial Services & Insurance at Kyndryl

As a Customer Partner, you will spearhead account strategy and execution, building trusted relationships with top‑level executives. Your responsibilities include developing strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities
* Serve as the main point of contact for all customer account management matters
* Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships with existing as well as new customers
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit and growth
* Develop trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
* Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
* Communicate progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
* Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to meet sales quotas
* Forecast and track key account metrics and prepare reports on account status
* Collaborate with other sales teams to identify and grow opportunities within your customer set
* Manage challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven work experience (5+ years) in account management or a relevant role
* Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C‑level
* Experience with CRM software and Microsoft 365
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Experience delivering client‑focused solutions
* Ability to manage multiple projects and demands while maintaining attention to detail
* Strong communication skills in a complex matrix with clients, external and internal partners, as well as cross‑functional teams
* Knowledge of business and technology trends and industry best practices, especially within IT
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* BA/BS or MA/MS degree in IT, Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree
* Consultative selling experience in technical solutions
* Relationship management experience
* Subject matter expertise in one or more areas (e.g., Cloud, Network, Cybersecurity, AI)
* Cross‑functional team management experience
* Communication skills in a complex matrix with clients, external and internal partners as well as cross‑functional teams
