Position: Head of Sales Germany Brand: New European brand, part of a global top-tier automotive manufacturer Scope: Geman National Market Location: Frankfurt Role Purpose The Head of Sales is accountable for delivering sustainable commercial growth in the German market. This role strengthens market positioning, scales the dealer and partner network, and balances short-term sales performance with long-term brand equity, customer satisfaction, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Market Intelligence & Strategic Positioning Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive dynamics to inform commercial strategy. Continuously benchmark competitors and translate insights into concrete growth initiatives. Dealer Network & Channel Development Build, professionalise, and optimise the local dealer and partner ecosystem. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealer groups, strategic partners, and public authorities. Ensure optimal market coverage and effective allocation of commercial resources. Business Planning & Commercial Execution Define and manage annual and monthly sales targets aligned with brand and profitability objectives. Develop and execute local commercial and marketing strategies focused on sales, margin, market share, and customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement in channel performance and operational efficiency. Operational & Commercial Excellence Oversee supply chain coordination and dealer operations to ensure stable and predictable performance. Balance volume growth with sustainable brand development and service quality. Customer Experience & Brand Representation Ensure structured measurement of customer satisfaction (incl. NPS) and lead improvement actions based on feedback. Act as senior brand representative in the market, safeguarding brand values and customer trust. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management Monitor operational and commercial risks across the full value chain. Ensure full compliance with corporate guidelines, local legislation, and internal governance standards Leadership & Talent Development Lead, coach, and develop the sales organisation, fostering a performance-driven and accountable culture. Act as a role model and sparring partner for the commercial leadership team. Candidate Profile Education Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 5 years of commercial leadership experience within automotive sales. Proven success in managing dealer networks and delivering sales growth in competitive markets. Skills & Competencies Strong command of English (spoken and written). Strategic mindset combined with hands-on execution capability. Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational skills. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Entrepreneurial, resilient, and results-driven, with the ability to perform under pressure.
