Solar Project Quality Assurance
We are seeking a skilled Solar Project Quality Assurance specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Renewables Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring quality across assigned projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System (PQMS), collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams, and ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and industry quality requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, proficient knowledge of quality management tools, auditing techniques, and reporting methods, and experience auditing and managing contractors and suppliers against customer quality requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Act as the customer's representative for quality across assigned projects, ensuring contractors, suppliers, and partners comply with quality standards.
2. Establish, maintain, and oversee the PQMS from late-stage development through execution and project closure, ensuring consistent application of quality standards.
3. Review, approve, and manage quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection test plans, method statements, and related records.
4. Conduct and oversee audits, inspections, and surveillance of contractors and suppliers to verify compliance with approved standards and specifications.
5. Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, driving timely resolution and preventing recurrence.
6. Collaborate with project teams to align quality objectives and deliver integrated project outcomes.
7. Provide timely reporting on quality risks, deviations, and potential impacts on project delivery.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a relevant discipline.
* 3-5 years of professional experience in quality management, with at least 3 years in quality oversight of large-scale solar projects.
* Proficient in quality management tools, auditing techniques, and reporting methods, including ISO 9001.
* Experience auditing and managing contractors and suppliers against customer quality requirements.
* Good understanding of quality standards, codes, and drawings for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical work.
