We are Amazon's BIM & Digitalization team, and we are responsible for the virtual design and construction of Amazon's building infrastructure for First, Middle and Last Mile. We want to be Earths most customer-centric company, and our team lives up to this promise to our internal customers.
We are now looking for an innovative BIM Manager to lead the research, deployment, optimization, and lifecycle management of BIM cloud-based tools supporting BIM use cases such as Design Collaboration, Scan-to-BIM, Reality Capture, Reality Analysis or Clash Detection.
The BIM Manager oversees governance and optimization of BIM digital collaboration platforms and ensures that the team´s workflows are harmonized across our organization. Additionally, they drive innovation by piloting new technologies and contributing to the evolution of the company's digital strategy, moving along new business goals and priorities.
The ideal candidate is 7y+ industry experienced who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and has a deep passion for researching and implementing innovative BIM solutions across large teams while safeguarding Amazon security standards.
The candidate will be expected to collaborate with Amazon stakeholder teams such as AWS, Data Security teams, Global Realty, Amazon Robotics, Amazon Operations Design teams and work backwards from their requirements to ensure BIM supports our customers' expectations.

Key job responsibilities
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of BIM tools across an organization that supports large scale buildings throughout new executions and retrofit works.
•Establish and maintain governance frameworks for Amazon BIM Common-Data-Environments (CDE), including standards for access control, project setup, permissions, and data structure.
•Stay current with CDE´s features updates and drive adoption of new features that improve efficiency and project outcomes.
•Strategize, plan and lead the migration of projects, data, and workflows from BIM360 to ACC, ensuring operational continuity, data integrity and minimal disruption for customers.
•Identify and evaluate emerging digital tools that align with strategic business needs, driving innovation by selecting solutions that best support high impact use cases and accelerate BIM-driven digital transformation across the organization.
•Ensure BIM tools align with corporate data security policies and internal data governance requirements.
•Support internal and external BIM managers in implementing these tools to meet project-specific and portfolio-wide needs.
•Secure the Operation of platforms used for reality capture, progress tracking, augmented reality, and related digital workflows
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with BIM workflows and digital construction technologies
- Background in architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) with solid hands-on experience in BIM workflows across design and construction phases
- Product management skills including backlog definition, stakeholder engagement, and roadmap planning, applied to digital construction tools and innovative initiatives
- Proficiency in managing and configuring CDE platforms such as Autodesk BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or similar systems
- Excellent understanding of 3D model coordination, clash detection, and data exchange across authoring tools like Revit, Navisworks, or Solibri
- Solid understanding of scan-to-BIM practices and use cases including Reality Capture, Reality Capture and Augmented Reality.
- Experience defining and enforcing platform governance including folder structures, permission models, naming conventions, and information standards
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and structured data environments, with the ability to implement compliant workflows across multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with API integrations, data connectors, or automation tools (e.g., Forge, Dynamo, or similar) to extend BIM platform capabilities
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working with IT, cybersecurity, design, and field operations to support scalable, secure platform use
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in ISO Practitioner or Information Manager level)
- BuildingSMART Professional Certification in openBIM or IFC workflows
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile certification
- Proven experience with visual programming or scripting in BIM environments (e.g., Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python)
- Familiarity with cloud-based API integrations and BIM platform extensions (e.g., Autodesk Forge, ACC APIs)
- Experience with reality capture technologies and digital twins, including tools like NavVis, OpenSpace, Gamma-AR or alike
- Exposure to AI-enhanced BIM workflows using platforms such as Avvir,, or Buildots, leveraging computer vision, predictive analytics, or model validation.
- The ability to work effectively in an extremely fast paced, ambiguous environment ·
- The ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management and problem solving skills ·
- Fluency in French, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications.
