Job Title: SAP Lead - Materials Management
Location: Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Essen, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Bremen, Hannover, Leipzig, Nuremberg, Dresden, Würzburg, Germany
Summary:
* Lead and manage SAP Source to Pay solution design, implementation, and delivery within S/4HANA and Ariba environments
* Collaborate with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into functional solutions
* Ensure all solution components meet client expectations and deliver tangible business benefits
* Guide and manage both onshore and offshore consulting teams
* Drive process optimization and transformation initiatives within procurement functions
* Act as the design guardian during industrialized global rollouts
* Engage and advise stakeholders at various levels, including C-Level and Business Process Owners
Skills:
* Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA MM and SAP Ariba implementations as a Stream Lead or Solution Architect
* In-depth knowledge of:
* Direct and indirect procurement
* Guided buying, catalogue management, forecasting, MRP setups, invoice verification
* Supplier collaboration and evaluation
* Understanding of integrations with:
* Manufacturing processes (MTO, MTS, MTE)
* Warehouse operations (SAP EWM)
* Inbound logistics and transportation management (SAP TM)
* Strong background in procurement process optimization within digital transformation projects
* Familiarity with reporting tools and spend analysis (nice to have)
* Experience with vendor collaboration, efficient procurement operations, and integration into SAP MDG for supplier onboarding and maintenance
* Techno-functional capabilities, including:
* IDOC specifications
* Adobe Forms, BRF+
* SAPUI5
* SAP BTP enhancements
* Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies
* Ability to manage and mentor offshore delivery teams
* Solid understanding of manufacturing or consumer goods industries
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with Signavio (a plus)
* Fluent in German, English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus
