Overview
Group Leader Maintenance & Engineering position leading a unit of ca. 60 employees with a substructure in the mid-network area. Responsible for operations (maintenance / in-service) of substations in the transport network and especially for primary technical operating equipment.
Responsibilities
* Assume operational responsibility for switchgear and transformer stations, STATCOM systems, HVDC converters and rotating phase-shamers, particularly for primary technical operating equipment
* Professional and disciplinary leadership of the assigned staff, including staff qualification and development
* Ensure occupational safety in accordance with applicable safety rules
* Implement environmental protection guidelines and directives
* Plan and monitor budgets and resources of the task area
* Implement maintenance measures and support the further development of the maintenance strategy
* Ensure 24/7 on-call duty across the entire area of responsibility
* Ensure supervision of station projects
* Enforce and further develop compliant processes and procedures
* Promote innovations, integrated working methods and a culture of transparency, learning and cross-functional collaboration
* Implement operational measures in operational crisis management
Qualifications
* Electrical engineering degree or equivalent
* Experience in switchgear and transformer stations, technical network operations or network projects, as well as in occupational safety and environmental protection
* Technical knowledge of high-voltage operating equipment
* Entrepreneurial thinking, teamwork, initiative, good communication skills and a future-oriented, goal-oriented work style
* Strong social, change and problem-solving skills and openness to new system techniques and processes
* Valid driving license class B and high willingness to travel within the Amprion network area
* Proficient German and good English skills
