Responsibilities
1. Work closely with intrapreneurs, tech specialists, creative minds, and thought leaders across our global organization to identify, validate, and build new business ventures.
2. Support the ZEISS Ventures team in scaling the internal venturing framework and portfolio across the entire innovation funnel—from sourcing and validation to incubation and acceleration.
3. Engage with the venture community within ZEISS and drive innovative ideas and methodologies to accelerate problem-solving for our clients.
4. Build and maintain a strong internal network within ZEISS to secure funding and resources for new business activities and foster a culture of intrapreneurship.
Minimum Qualifications
* Proven track record in business development or venture building within medical devices, health tech, life sciences, or deep tech.
* Experience in scaling businesses, launching new products, or driving market entry strategies in startup or corporate environments.
* Exceptional leadership and influencing skills to engage stakeholders across global organizations and with external partners.
* Strong ability to define and execute go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales approaches in complex B2B markets.
* Strategic thinking with a deep understanding of market dynamics, regulations, and emerging trends in health tech industries.
* Background in STEM or Life Sciences/Healthcare, ideally with an MBA.
