We are looking for an experienced HV Laboratory Jointing Supervisor to strengthen our team in Switzerland. In this role, you will take ownership of high-voltage cable jointing activities in a cutting-edge laboratory environment, while also coordinating field operations and technical interfaces across international projects.
Your Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate a team of HV cable jointers within the High Voltage Laboratory
* Oversee preparation and installation of HV cables and accessories for testing up to 500 kV
* Supervise jointing activities both internally and at external laboratories and client sites
* Ensure proper installation and assembly of cable systems
* Act as a key technical interface between R&D, Project Management, and other departments
* Support laboratory setups and test configurations
* Drive training, coaching, and development of jointers
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and internal standards
* Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of jointing practices
Your Profile
* Technical education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Metalworking
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HV cable jointing and accessories
* Proven experience in supervising field activities or construction sites
* Strong leadership and team coordination skills
* Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style
* Ability to operate in international environments
* Fluent in English (German and/or Italian is a plus)
