We have a fantastic opportunity for an E-Commerce Director Europe to join our team at Lands’ End Europe. Reporting into our Head of Europe the E-Commerce Director is a key leadership role responsible for driving the success of our online sales, expanding our e-commerce capabilities and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business in Europe. As a strategic leader, the E-Commerce Director will build and lead a team of e-commerce experts to grow our online presence across the region—curating, optimizing, and trading our digital platforms to increase conversion rates, average order value, customer satisfaction, and overall revenue. The role will work closely with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Analytics, Creative, Customer Service, and IT to execute business plans, build capabilities, streamline processes, generate insights, and establish a scalable foundation for long-term growth. Please note this role is a hybrid working role and so will require some time spent in the Lands’ End office each month in Mettlach in Germany. As part of the Leadership team some travel around Europe will be expected. The candidate must be fluent in English and an ability to communicate in German and/or French would be a distinct advantage. The ideal candidate will have a detail and analytical mindset with the ability to balance creative and analytical thinking and interpret complex data into actionable insights with the support of web analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics). Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or related field Proven experience in digital trading (commerce), e-commerce operations, or a related field, with a track record of driving revenue growth and enhancing customer experiences in Germany, UK and France and ideally in further European countries. Proven track record in launching into new countries/markets. Strong understanding of retail apparel industry trends, consumer behaviour, and online shopping best practices. Experience with A/B testing, personalization, and optimization strategies to improve site performance. Excellent leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
