To support our team, we are currently looking for two
English-speaking early childhood assistants on a part-time basis
for up to 35 hours per week. The contract is for a fixed term until the end of 2025.
About our centre:
Our Fröbel kindergarten Springfrosch in the Golm Science Park is located in the middle of the countryside and is easily accessible by regional train. A dedicated, multicultural team of 17 educational staff and 3 English-speaking colleagues look after 120 happy and lively children aged 8 weeks until they enter primary school. The pedagogy is characterised by openness, participation and individualisation. Our educators respond to the needs and interests of the children by incorporating these into their everyday activities. A stimulating environment with a variety of materials promotes the children's educational and developmental processes.
The focus areas of bilingual work, nature, investigation and sustainability play a major role in our day-to-day educational programme. The immediate proximity of our kindergarten to the forest offers plenty of space for projects and activities in nature whereas the scientific atmosphere created by the Golm site encourages research and experimentation.
In addition, the in-house (herb)-garden offers the children plenty of space to play and explore. The meals are freshly prepared by two cooks in the in-house kitchen to ensure a balanced diet. Our facility also takes part in the GemüseAckerdemie educational programme. A particular highlight of this programme is the children's own vegetable plot, where they grow, water and harvest their own vegetables with the support of the educators.
