We are looking for an International Payroll Specialist - German Speaker!Join our dedicated international payroll team and play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll across multiple countries. In this role, you'll primarily support payroll operations for Germany, Austria & Switzerland, partnering closely with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders.Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, working across Finance, HR, People Operations, Audit, Compliance, and with business leaders globally to support our strategic roadmap.Preferably Germany, but other locations where IDEXX operates are possible.What You'll DoProcess, audit, and reconcile international payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time deliveryPartner with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payroll reportingCoordinate payroll approval & payment instructions with the Finance teamPrepare monthly payroll GL journal, accrual reports, and month-end closing reporting activitiesEnsure compliance with statutory regulations, collective labor agreements, and company policiesRespond to payroll-related employee inquiriesSupport internal and external auditsProvide payroll data and insights to support HR and cross-functional projectsProfile3+ years of experience in an international payroll or payroll/accounting environmentHands-on experience processing European payrolls, with strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance, and tax lawsStrong expertise in German payroll and labor lawExperience working with outsourced payroll providersProven ability to manage internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work independently, accurately, and meet tight deadlinesFluency in German and English (written and verbal)Strong ownership mindset and accountability for payroll processesAdvanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros, etc.)We offerWe have customers in over 175 countries and a collaborative global workforce. xkxcfiw At IDEXX, you'll be supported by competitive compensation, incentives, and benefits while enjoying purposeful work that drives improvement.
