We are seeking a self- motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented Field Application Scientist to work remotely in UK, Germany, Netherlands or Switzerland to serve as a core team member of the growing biopharma sales team.
A Day in the Life
As a Field Application Scientist, you will support the execution of new and existing market opportunities to build and maintain revenue streams. This role will be focused on, but not limited to, new technologies and scientific applications in emerging therapeutic. The Field Application Scientist will ensure the customer success in the transition of new applications and workflows from early adopters to the sales and FAS organization. This will be a highly collaborative role and will have close partnerships with Field and Tech Support, Field Applications, Sales, and Product Management. You will also facilitate the smooth transition of new workflows and applications to FAS/Sales/Support teams. In addition, you will troubleshoot technical and scientific problems during the installation, training, and other post sales processes.
What You’ll Do
* Educated to degree level or above
* Practical experience in mammalian cell line development
* Experience as a Field Application Scientist
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills, combined with a pro-active, flexible and adaptive approaches
* Highly organized with experience of using databases to maximum effect
* Must hold a valid, current driving license for the territory
* Hold a current valid passport
* You must be able to use basic office equipment: computer, printer, copier, telephone, etc.
* Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods of time
* Must be capable of clearly communicating – verbal and oral
* 50% travel to prospects (including overseas), customers, distributors and trade events and have a valid driver's permit
