Your tasks:
* Responsibility for quality assurance of injection molded parts at external suppliers
o Checking tools and processes to ensure product quality
o Introduction and monitoring of quality measures to reduce rejects
* Carrying out supplier audits and evaluating production processes
o Analysis of production processes and identification of optimization potentials
o Implementation of corrective action plans for the sustainable improvement of supplier performance
* Development and implementation of measures for continuous quality improvement
o Implementation of Lean and Six Sigma methods for process optimization
o Training and support for suppliers with regard to quality issues
* Monitoring compliance with quality standards in accordance with IATF 16949 and VDA requirements
o Ensuring documentation and conformity with standard specifications
o Support with certification processes and audit
* Root cause analysis and problem solving for quality deviations using 8D reports, FMEA and other QM tools
o Application of Ishikawa diagrams and 5-Why analyses for the cause of errors
o Escalation management for recurring quality problems
* Close cooperation with internal departments (purchasing, development, production) and with suppliers to optimize production processes
o Technical support for supplier selection and qualification of new suppliers
o Support with value analysis workshops for cost optimization
* Creation of reports and documentation for supplier management
o Monitoring of KPIs to evaluate supplier performance
o Reporting to the management with recommendations for action
* Support in the sampling and release of components according to PPAP/EMPB methodology
o Creation and review of initial sample test reports (EMPB)
o Coordination with the development department for final approval
Your profil:
* Education: Completed technical studies (mechanical engineering, plastics technology, production technology or comparable
* Skills and experience
o Several years of professional experience in quality management/supplier quality, ideally in the injection molding and automotive industry
o Sound knowledge of quality methods (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, 8D report, SPC)
o Experience with relevant norms and standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001)
o Safe application of measurement technology and analysis methods
o Very good communication skills and assertiveness
o Willingness to travel for supplier audits and international cooperation
o Confident handling of MS Office and quality management software
o Business fluent in German and English
