We are looking for a Engineer II to join our Partners Integration team and reinvent on-demand delivery with us.
The team's mission is to provide a secure and seamless `API as a Service` experience. The team also ensures highly available service for external partners for q-commerce order transmission, inventory updates, and promotions.
You will be working with an international, flexible, and experienced team, shaping the service experience for thousands of partners who list their products in our platform. All of this with cutting-edge technologies, and the most exciting tech stack with the best practices in the market.

1. Design and implement microservices enabling highly scalable, inventive, secure and cost-effective solutions.
2. Deliver automated and well-tested features single-handedly or in collaboration with teammates in various roles.
3. Use engineering best practices to establish reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
4. Own architectural decisions on the features that you are developing.
5. Master the problem space in which your team operates and participate in the discovery to find a suitable solution.
6. Lead challenging projects that require your team’s input.
7. Learn quickly from your colleagues and projects. Contribute to the learning of your fellow engineers via writing documentation, hosting learning sessions, etc.

Qualifications
9. Java/Kotlin expert in the context of distributed systems and RESTful and gRPC services. (2+ years)
10. Experience in cloud platform hosting via AWS/GCP and terraform/cloud formation/helm.
11. Experience in Distributed Systems Architecture (Microservices, Event-Driven, and RESTful Services).
12. Building, maintaining & running a system in a microservice environment with Kubernetes.
13. 2+ years of experience in large-scale applications.
14. Experience in working with agile methodologies.
15. Experience with messaging services (SNS/SQS, Kafka, or Pub/Sub).
16. Experience with common CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Drone, and Spinnaker.
17. Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.
18. Curious, and open-minded with a growth mindset, thriving on continuous feedback.
Nice to have:
19. Experience with Golang and professional experience working with relational and nonrelational databases.
20. Building, maintaining & running a high traffic system with Kubernetes.
21. Experience with common monitoring/alerting/logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, distributed tracing.
22. Familiar with Istio/Kong/Service mesh config.
