Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.
Carhartt Work In Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. Over the course of the past three decades, our business has developed organically, along with its customers, the culture that surrounds the brand, and its employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.
For our office in Berlin (Kreuzberg), we are looking for you as a Junior Copywriter English (m/f/x) in part time 24 hrs.
Your Responsibilities
Creating engaging, original copy that aligns with our tone of voice, brand identity, and editorial strategy.
Bringing campaigns and editorials to life through clear, compelling storytelling.
Writing and editing weekly newsletters.
Creating seasonal product descriptions that clearly communicate features and technical details.
Supporting updates to onsite copy, including homepage, SEO and category pages, and journal posts.
Creating social media captions tailored to each platform, across global and local accounts.
Proofreading and fact-checking copy to ensure accuracy and consistency before publication.
Researching products, market trends, and cultural touchpoints to inform and strengthen your writing.
Collaborating with our in-house French and German copywriters to maintain tone of voice and brand identity across all languages.
Attending planning and feedback meetings with the e-commerce, creative, and marketing departments.
Your Profile
A degree in English language and/or literature, journalism, or a comparable qualification.
Relevant professional experience as a copywriter, including internships.
Strong interest in fashion, editorial, and contemporary culture, with a solid understanding of the Carhartt WIP consumer.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative, proactive attitude and openness to feedback.
Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
