A Japanese logistics and freight forwarding company providing comprehensive support for Japanese clients operating globally. Their Netherlands office plays a key role in supporting smooth cross-border operations, including both import and export services.
They are currently looking for a detail-oriented and versatile Logistics Coordinator. They are a small and close-knit office, so they welcome candidates who are happy to take on general administrative tasks as part of their role.

Position: Full-time
Contract Type: 1 year contract with potential for extension
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Rotterdam (Netherlands)

Main Responsibilities:
Import Operations:
•Receive and verify shipping documents from overseas offices
•Issue arrival notices to clients
•Arrange customs clearance and local delivery
Export Operations:
•Book shipments with shipping companies
•Prepare and issue Bills of Lading •Send shipping advice and documentation to clients and overseas offices
Accounting Support:
•Handle payment processing
•Manage accounts receivable and payable •Issue customer invoices
General Coordination:
•Communicate and coordinate with customers, vendors, and global offices
•Provide administrative support to ensure smooth end-to-end logistics

Requirements:
•Fluency in English (Japanese language skills are a plus)
•At least 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or international shipping
•Experience in customer support is a plus
•Strong communication and coordination skills
•Valid residence and work permit for the Netherlands (Visa support is not available) or
