In our team “Corporate Climate Governance” we are working on Daimler Truck AGs climate strategy in the areas of product, production and supply chain together with our expert teams. We are part of Daimler Truck’s sustainability reporting (e.g. CSRD and CDP). Furthermore, we are calculating the corporate GHG-Emissions of Daimler Truck AG to track our environmental impact. WHAT WE OFFER YOU An exciting and varied role in a dynamic environment The opportunity to independently contribute to projects and bring in your ideas Attractive compensation and flexible working hours Insights into the working world of a leading company in the commercial vehicle industry Participation in and contribution to exciting exchange and networking events within the cross-location Students @ Daimler Truck network Responsibilities WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Support the team determining environmental impacts through GHG-Accounting using GHG-Protocol and internal guidance Contribute to Daimler Trucks efforts to implement a Climate Transition Plan (CTP) Assist in communicating the areas / levers of influence that are most impactful to improve and identify value drivers within the GHG-Inventory Planning and conducting an employee survey for data collection Scope 3 Category 7 Collaborate cross-functionally with data owners across the business to define key metrics to be used for measurement and reporting Support the team in the event organization of the internal Green Mover Award of Daimler Truck AG Assist team members in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and materials for Management Meetings and Townhalls Qualifications THAT’S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH Degree course: Sustainability management, Environmental sciences, engineering or a comparable course of study with a focus on energy or environment (“Bachelor/Master of Engineering” or “Bachelor/Master of Science”) Experiences with MS-Office Very good communication skills and proficiency in English and German, Team language is english Engagement Ability to work in a team Analytical way of thinking and strategic way of working Experience with sustainability reporting and GHG-Accounting is preferred You don’t bring everything with you?
