As a (Senior) HR Generalist, you’ll act as the first line of support for all local people matters, ensuring a seamless and compliant employee experience across the full lifecycle. You will bridge global HR frameworks with local execution in Germany, enabling ICEYErs to thrive and directly contributing to operational excellence and mission success.
This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. As a trusted partner for defense, intelligence, security, and maritime domain awareness, ICEYE’s near real-time data creates a tactical advantage for mission-critical operations. Designed for dual use, the platform also serves civil protection and commercial users for natural-catastrophe intelligence, insurance, maritime monitoring including oil-spill detection, and finance, contributing to global security and community resilience.

Act as the primary point of contact for employees in Germany, managing HR queries and lifecycle events in line with global standards
Own local onboarding, relocation, and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with German labor law and a high-quality employee experience
Manage local HR vendors and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong data integrity in HR systems
Handle employee relations cases and advise the local CEO, escalating complex topics to Global HR when needed
Strong working knowledge of German labor law and local HR practices, with experience creating compliant policies and documentation
Hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and vendor management
Fluency in English and German, with strong communication skills across local and global stakeholders
Experience working in a global or matrixed organization
Experience supporting fast-scaling or high-growth environments
Interview with Global Head of HR Operations to assess HR skills
