Logistics Manager | Global Manufacturing Environment | Germany

We're partnering with a leading international manufacturing organisation to identify an experienced Logistics Manager to lead site-wide logistics operations and drive continuous improvement across warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and material flow processes. Based in Germany, this is a key leadership position with responsibility for both operational excellence and strategic logistics development.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for material flow across the site, from goods receipt through to on-time customer delivery
• Plan, manage, and optimise transportation, loading/unloading activities, and inbound goods processes
• Ensure efficient warehouse utilisation and robust inventory management practices
• Drive the further development of logistics infrastructure and end-to-end logistics processes
• Lead, develop, and mentor the site logistics team
• Oversee logistics equipment and automated warehouse systems, including high-bay storage operations
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service levels, efficiency, and cost performance

What We're Looking For

• Degree or vocational qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Proven logistics leadership experience within an international manufacturing environment
• Strong background in developing and scaling end-to-end logistics processes
• Experience working with automotive or highly regulated quality standards (e.g., VDA, IATF)
• Strong project management and process improvement capabilities
• ERP systems experience and strong analytical skills
• Fluent German and English communication skills
• Hands-on leadership style with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
