Senior Communications Manager - Industry Networks (all genders)
The Industry Networks are key drivers of innovation in automation and the digitalization of the process industry. As a Senior Communications Manager (all genders), you will play a central role in shaping effective communication strategies, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and enabling knowledge exchange across the global automation community.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* You lead the development and execution of a forward-thinking communication strategy that aligns with the long-term vision of the Industry Networks, enhancing the organizations position as an thought leader
* You gather and prepare information to support lobbying efforts
* You are responsible for creating high-quality communication content (e.g., executive presentations, campaigns, digital formats) in line with corporate design standards
* You drive data-based digital communication strategies (social media, webinars, interactive platforms) to increase reach and engagement
* You build strategic partnerships with universities, associations, and opinion leaders, fostering innovation and talent development
* You plan and execute high-profile events, including the annual NAMUR General Assembly and international conferences, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing stakeholder engagement
* You ensure compliance with branding and communication guidelines while actively managing the organizations intellectual property portfolio
* You lead comprehensive budget management processes, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with strategic objectives
* You implement agile project management methodologies, while prioritizing initiatives based on evolving business needs and market dynamics
WHO YOU ARE
* You hold a university degree (Bachelor’s); an MBA or a comparable qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field is an advantage
* You have extensive years of professional experience in strategic communications, PR, or marketing
* You have proven leadership experience and a track record of successfully implementing complex communication strategies
* You are able to translate complex analytical and technological content into clear, accessible messaging
* You have a proven ability to quickly acquire expertise in new technological concepts
* You stand out through excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* You have experience leading international communication projects with measurable impact
* You possess business-fluent English skills; German and additional languages are an advantage
