Your main tasks and responsibilities as a Hybrid Energy Systems Developer:
* Developing and improving python-based Hybrid Park optimization models for technologies such as batteries, wind or solar farms. This involves implementing new features and improving existing functionality.
* Increasing model robustness and data quality through testing frameworks and data validation.
* Integrating databases and APIs for improved model architecture and automation.
* Preparation of supporting python-based tooling to improve the process of analysing Hybrid Park and Flex development projects and existing assets.
* Propose and present implementation approaches to the team, demonstrating confidence in suggesting solutions and explaining technical decisions.
* Jointly refining user requirements into concrete model improvements as input for Sprint planning and model implementation.
Qualifications
* Enrolment: Currently enrolled in computer science, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or another quantitative field, with at least 12 months remaining in your studies.
* Technical Skills: Advanced programming knowledge in Python; familiarity with energy markets is a plus.
* Soft skills: Team player with strong analytical and critical thinking skills; proactive, responsible, and eager to learn. Good communication skills and willingness to share knowledge.
* Language: Strong command of English both written and verbally.
* Mindset: Passionate about renewable energy, collaborative, and open-minded.
