Design Manager – Sedgman Sedgman is expanding its European head office in Frankfurt, Germany. As part of our global strategic expansion, we support major critical raw materials projects and deliver innovative, sustainable engineering solutions that drive the energy transition across Europe. Responsibilities Lead and manage multi‑disciplinary design teams to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions. Support engineering estimating and tender preparation activities. Ensure design outputs meet client expectations, safety standards, and commercial objectives. Coordinate design reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with global teams to optimise design resources and capabilities. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and Safety in Design principles. Champion quality management and innovation in engineering design processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline). 10+ years of experience in engineering design and project development. Proven experience in estimating and tender development. Strong leadership and communication skills. Native German speaker with professional proficiency in English. Experience in mineral processing is highly regarded. Proficient in engineering software and project planning tools.
