We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Advantest.
About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to take on new challenges and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge technology. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex chip architectures, bringing up devices to production maturity, and resolving technical issues in close cooperation with our R&D team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and Development: Design and develop complex chip architectures and bring up devices to production maturity.
* Technical Problem Solving: Resolve technical issues in close cooperation with our R&D team.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
* Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to improve overall team performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering/Science or relevant field
* Educational Background: Solid experience working professionally for EDA companies and/or designing complex chip architectures and bring-up in HVM of these designs ideally in the field of high-performance compute devices or complex SOC designs.
* Professional Experience: Solid experience in designing complex chip designs and bring-up of devices to reach production (HVM) maturity or root causing design flaws on field returns (RMA).
* Technical Skills: Working experience with programming languages i.e., C++ or Java along with scripting languages i.e., Phyton or Java Script in a Linux based environment.
* Soft Skills: Excellent global teamwork skills, customer-oriented mindset & presentation skills to relay technical information to audience & trainees.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Linux Operating System: Experience with Linux operating systems, especially RedHat & Ubuntu.
* Communication Skills: Good English language & Communication / Presentation skills.
* Global Teamwork: Excellent global teamwork skills.
* Customer Focus: Customer-focused and a comprehensive understanding of customer needs & requirements.
