Our company is looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Embedded Systems Architect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and development of embedded systems, electrical circuits, and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
In this role, you will be responsible for developing real-time embedded systems for space launch missions, including engine & propellant control unit, power management, deployment initiation, and payload interface. You will also design high-speed digital/analog circuits and PCBs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity of developed hardware.
The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field, with proven experience in the design of embedded systems, electrical circuits, and PCB layout. Familiarity with development tools such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers is essential. Knowledge of EDA tools such as KiCAD, Altium, or comparable is also required.
We are looking for an individual with excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative spirit, and strong planning and organizational abilities. Fluency in English is required, and German proficiency is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop real-time embedded systems for space launch missions, including engine & propellant control unit, power management, deployment initiation, and payload interface.
* Design high-speed digital/analog circuits and PCBs.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity of developed hardware.
* Design and develop testing, qualification, and integration plans for developed hardware, including automated testing definition for CI/CD workflows.
* Take part in peer-review processes for hardware and software development.

* Proven experience in the design of embedded systems, electrical circuits, and PCB layout.
* Familiarity with development tools such as debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
