Role Description
The Head of HSES role at Flexsys Germany is a full-time, on-site position located in Neinburg, Germany. The role primarily involves overseeing Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (HSES) initiatives to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. The responsibilities include developing and implementing effective HSES programs, conducting risk assessments, leading audits, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain occupational health standards and drive continual improvements in HSES performance is also an integral part of the role.
Responsibilities
* Advising specialist departments on occupational and process safety, risk assessments, and operating instructions
* Playing an active role in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of safety-related processes at the plant
* Analyzing occupational safety deficits and developing measures to prevent them
* Expanding and implementing strategic HSE goals
* Active participation in the Site Leadership Team to further develop a safety and compliance culture at the site
* Planning and conducting audits and training measures in HSE
* Contact person for authorities
Requirements
* Degree in engineering or safety engineering
* Training as an occupational safety specialist
* Several years of experience in the areas of occupational safety, health, and environmental protection
* Experience in fire protection and explosion-proof systems is desirable
* Experience in emission control is an advantage
* Leadership experience and strong communication skills
* Good understanding of regulatory requirements
* Very good German and English language skills
