Job Description
Sales Associates contribute to the store's revenue and KPI goals by embodying our brand values, providing athletes with a unique experience during their visit to Under Armour. This role reports to Store Managers and is responsible for executing routine tasks to support business operations. Sales Associates may also take on responsibilities in the absence of Stock Specialists.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Omnichannel
* Provide direct sales support to athletes to achieve the KPI goals set by Retail Store Managers.
* Handle omnichannel inquiries in accordance with UA processes and guidelines through digital experiences.
Brand Image and Customer Experience
* Embody the UA service culture and customer expectations.
* Assist athletes in communicating brand messages according to the UA service model.
* Integrate product knowledge into the sales process through training participation.
Retail Operations
* Adhere to standards for merchandise and sales areas.
* Follow UA policies and procedures.
* Complete operational and cash-related tasks (manually or system-supported) as trained.
* Comply with Under Armour’s dress code and attendance policies.
* Meet work hours according to Under Armour’s attendance guidelines.
Team Collaboration/Self-Development
* Collaborate with teammates to achieve business goals.
* Take responsibility for your own development and leverage growth opportunities to enhance performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Basic skills in math, reading, writing, listening comprehension, and communication.
* Fluency in German; English is a plus.
* Proficient use of computers and other technologies.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate and cooperate within a team.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to handle or move products weighing up to 12 kg.
* Ability to move around the store for extended periods with short breaks.
* Access all areas of the store, including sales floor, stockroom, and cash area.
* Reasonable accommodations can be made to assist in fulfilling essential tasks.
TYPICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* 0–3 months of retail experience in sports apparel/shoes preferred.
* Ability to adapt work hours flexibly to meet business needs, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
