What you will do
1. Work in power device product development, ramp-up to production, and yield improvement activities
2. Identify and drive key engineering activities that optimize product life cycle and yield
3. Consider all product aspects from design to manufacturing to effective cost structure
4. Deliver concise summaries, and conclusions, and influence development activities and testing to optimize our products
5. Work in an engaged multi-cultural team with a global footprint
6. Co-operate with internal and external development and production partners
7. Work together with simulations, layout and manufacturing teams
8. Develop and implement new technology concepts to manufacturing
9. Ensure the process integration of the full manufacturing route
10. Support the definition of test structures for technology characterization
What you will need
11. PhD or equivalent in Experimental Physics, Electronics Engineering, or a similar discipline
12. In-depth knowledge of power semiconductor devices, especially wide band gap GaN HEMTs
13. Initial experience in power semiconductor product development of wide band gap GaN HEMTs, gained within an industrial setting
14. Ability to communicate complex concepts and requirements clearly and to influence stakeholders at all levels
15. Team player with a strong drive to achieve success
16. Fluency in English, conversational German is desirable
17. Good communication skills, both verbal and in writing
18. Willingness to travel occasionally
