Role Overview
The CSA Lead (Civil, Structural & Architectural) will be responsible for the full delivery of CSA works on a large-scale hyperscale data centre project. This role will lead site-based execution, ensuring all civil, structural, and architectural packages are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and experience working on complex, fast-track construction projects, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sector.
Key Responsibilities
CSA Delivery & Package Management
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of all CSA packages, including enabling works, groundworks, reinforced concrete, structural steel, façade, and internal architectural works
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure alignment with programme, quality, and safety standards
* Oversee site execution, sequencing, and coordination of all CSA activities
Programme & Planning
* Develop and manage short-term and long-term lookahead programmes
* Monitor progress against milestones and implement corrective actions where required
* Coordinate with project planning teams to ensure programme adherence
Technical & Design Coordination
* Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for buildability and compliance
* Manage RFIs, technical queries, and design changes in collaboration with design teams and consultants
* Ensure effective coordination between CSA and MEP disciplines
Quality Assurance & Compliance
* Implement and manage QA/QC procedures, inspections, and ITPs
* Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
* Promote and enforce a strong health and safety culture across all site activities
* Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and local regulations
Commercial & Reporting
* Support commercial teams with cost tracking, variations, and procurement input
* Provide regular progress reports to senior management and client stakeholders
Stakeholder Management
* Act as the primary CSA point of contact on site
* Lead coordination meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives
* Ensure clear communication across all project stakeholders
Requirements
Experience
* Proven experience in a CSA Lead / CSA Manager / Construction Manager role
* Strong track record delivering large-scale construction projects (data centre or mission-critical experience highly desirable)
* Experience managing concrete, structural, and architectural packages on complex builds
* Background working with Tier 1 contractors or leading international construction firms
Technical Skills
* Strong knowledge of:
* Civil and structural construction methodologies
* Building envelope and architectural finishes
* QA/QC processes and documentation
* Familiarity with construction software and tools (e.g., BIM, Navisworks, Primavera, MS Project)
Qualifications
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
* Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are advantageous

* Strong leadership and team management capabilities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure project environment
