Our client is a leading food company in Hamburg with well established brands and part of a multinational group, for whom we are searching for a
Supply Chain Director (w/m/d)
Key Outputs:
1. Lead the department: Design and develop the supply organisation in order to comply with the strategy. Set objectives and ensure that they are attained Working with the HR-Division, manage team recruitment, career management, training, development, remuneration policy etc.
2. Run the demand planning in collaboration with sales and marketing
3. Build the production planning for the plant on sales forecast, plants constraints, Raw Material availability and stock policy
4. Develop a finished good production and sourcing planning to define volumes requirement for both internal plants and suppliers.•
5. Ensure the management and steering of the external logistic provider to secure deliveries to the customers
6. Ensuring that stock coverage and service level targets are met throughout the supply chain
7. Manage the order to cash process
8. As a member of the Leadership Team, help to develop the business strategy.
Your profile:
9. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the same post or one of its component parts: logistics, flow management, demand management in the FMCG business.
10. Good command of ERP and process order to cash.
11. Mature and proactive, with evidence of having worked as a business partner and internal & external customer orientation.
12. Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
13. An effective communicator at all levels in the organisation, with strong oral and written skills.
14. A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality, combined with the will and passion to drive change agenda and constantly question the status quo
15. Very good level of English and German (C1/C2)
