About the Role
* Design utility scale ground mounted solar PV projects with an initial focus on project development support.
* Use industry standard software to progress technical design work from preliminary to detail level in line with the project's development maturity.
* Optimize layouts and yields based on constraint analysis.
* Design in compliance with industry codes and standards and incorporate feedback from Construction, Operations and Development.
* Support the preparation of post-construction documentation.
* Provide expertise during project development and implementation, remotely and on site.
* Support and lead technical due diligences.
* Cooperate optimally within Renewables, consisting of developers, engineers, project-, contract- and offtake-managers, market and strategy analysts as well as a network of external partners.
Requirements
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field).
* Extensive experience in utility-scale solar design and project delivery.
* Proficiency in solar PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD) and understanding of renewable energy systems.
* Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and system optimization capabilities.
* Proven track record of international work experience and cultural adaptability.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Business fluency in English (other languages are an advantage).
