Ferring+You
You will be the medical and scientific leader, representing Ferring with authorities, patient organizations, and external opinion leaders, as well as internally within the cluster. You will lead a medical affairs team, develop and engage them, and possess strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach.
Your responsibilities at Ferring
1. Lead the Cluster Medical Affairs Team.
2. Serve as the medical/scientific face of Ferring with external stakeholders.
3. Engage with external scientific and clinical experts regarding cluster, regional, and global activities.
4. Manage Medical operations within the cluster, including overseeing execution and strategic planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
5. Ensure achievement of regional and global Medical Affairs targets, resource allocation, and budget management.
6. Maintain compliance with GCP, SOPs, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
7. Provide scientific input and oversee data generation activities.
8. Represent the cluster internally and contribute to regional medical affairs strategies.
Qualifications
* University Medical or Scientific degree; higher life science qualification (PhD, PharmD) optional; MBA preferred.
* Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical or biotech industries, with significant Medical Affairs experience.
* At least 5 years of management or leadership experience.
* Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.
* Understanding of pharmaceutical industry and clinical operations; experience in Fertility, Gastroenterology, or Urology preferred.
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
* Results-oriented with strong analytical skills and familiarity with industry tools.
