Conducting network studies and contributing to the control teams by validating results in software and hardware is part of your day-to-day. By closely monitoring the quality of deliverables, you are ensuring they are in line with our project program and will improve the efficiency of our company on our path to building a more sustainable tomorrow. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Conducting network and control studies for HVDC projects during both the proposal and execution phases, including Dynamic Performance and Interaction studies.
2. Preparing and initially validating detailed simulation models for power systems using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and PSCAD/EMTDC.
3. Analyzing the dynamic behavior of HVDC control systems
4. Parametrizing HVDC control system functions
5. Investigating potential interactions between HVDC converters and other power electronic devices in the power system through EMT simulation models.
6. Presenting study results to the project team, showcasing the developed simulation models and explaining the documentation
What You Bring
7. University degree ( or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or Control Engineering
8. A solid understanding of control system theory fundamentals.
9. Proficiency in power system simulation tools.
10. Fluency in English, with proficiency in German being a plus.
11. Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
