About this position
In this role, you will be part of our local R&D team for Germany and Switzerland, playing a key role in successfully bringing innovative products to market. You will be acting as the interface between our European innovation development team and our local marketing and sales teams. Beside that you will make a significant contribution to implementing our sustainability and growth strategy.
What you'll do
* Translate the EU innovation pipeline into local business strategies and support the local marketing and sales team (Germany/Switzerland) with R&D expertise to understand product technology
* Evaluate and verify product claims based on local legal and regulatory requirements
* Provide technical background for claim substantiation to our commercial teams
* Participate in customer meetings with demos and technical explanations to strengthen customer relationships
* Ensure compliance of our local HCB product portfolio with all regulation and legal needs
* Feed local insights from consumer and business perspectives back into the EU innovation pipeline
* Drive harmonization and efficiency in communication between local stakeholders and EU innovation teams
* Support development of best-in-class processes for cross-functional collaboration
What makes you a good fit
* University degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Process Engineering or an equivalent qualification
* At least 5-10 years business experience in FMCG
* Technical and chemical expertise in Laundry & Home Care and Beauty Care, as well as experience in product development advantageous
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration
* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and claims management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
* Fluent English and German skills
