Overview
Senior Brand Manager is responsible for:
* Key role to implement short, mid and long term strategies to accelerate Carbonated Softdrinks agenda through a consistent and coherent multi-brand strategy
* Develop business plans together with the Marketing Manager to deliver long term turnaround business plan and strategic direction
* Achieve Annual Key Objectives (Net Rev, Volume and Profit) for Carbonated Softdrinks category in Germany
* More Senior stakeholder management: WE Cluster Lead, global Marketing team, BU and MU LT, sector adjacent functions (Insights, Design center, Commercialization etc)
Responsibilities
* Achieve Key AOP Objectives (Net Rev, Volume and Profit) for Carbonated Softdrinks category in Germany
* Build Must Win Battles, Brand Growth Strategies and Behavioral Growth Targets plus 360 campaign year on year
* Provide proper input for 3-year strategy & short term operational plan to either global or local organization
* Close collaboration with other departments like Commercialization, Demand Acceleration, Sales, Supply, Commercialization, Finance, Media
* Ensure strong consumer-first thinking to develop and implement key programs
* Responsible for communication with the agencies (media, creative, research), partners and suppliers
* Identify resources, competitive environment, possible partners, opportunity areas etc. and propose the activation plans and KPIs to ensure our brands meet their business and share of market objectives
* Develop & supervise execution for locally relevant brand strategies and marketing plans for assigned brands, maximizing existing knowledge/learning from PepsiCo system
* Responsible for development and introduction of new products/brands within the assigned categories, all activities related to innovation development: planning, designing and launching new product initiatives, according to internal PepsiCo procedure
* Responsible for set-up and management of the A&M budget for assigned brands
* Orchestrate the media planning and buying. Deliver clear reviews of activity performance vs. plan on concrete KPIs and define future recommendations to optimize / improve performance
* Drive ROI efficiency in media and activations, full project, agency & budget management to deliver calendar on time & in full
* Managing projects related to brand packaging, other visibility tools, together with DX dept aligning with key stakeholders
* Actively involves and develops action plans based on brand analysis: Consumer Regards, Retail Audit, internal sales etc
* Influence WE cluster, global team and local team to give feedback, incorporate all learnings and secure sign off from stakeholders for campaigns; build close relationships within DACH commercial team to ensure flawless execution of plans
* Lead consolidation of Category best practise implementation and lessons learnt, sharing opportunities to Lift & Shift best practises, successes and failures and innovative solutions with Global
* Manage, coach and develop direct report, setting clear objectives, KPIs and development plans. Enable, empower, energize and provide clear vision for the reports to ensure they overdeliver
Qualifications
* University degree or equal
* 5-8 years of relevant job experience in Marketing and Commercial
* Consumer understanding & concept development
* Commercial project leadership skills
* Experience in bringing innovations into market
* Strong Leadership & Coaching skills
* Fluent Business English
