Your tasks
System integration: You are responsible for the integration of complex ship equipment systems and components into modern new naval construction projects.
Design control: They monitor and control the design processes at sub-suppliers and ensure compliance with technical standards.
Interface management: You independently coordinate technical interfaces with other specialist groups and maintain the corresponding bills of materials.
Project documentation: You will create design and manufacturing documents and prepare and track discrepancy reports in case of construction deviations.
Quality assurance: They conduct on-board construction supervision and carry out inspections of subcontractors based on specifications.
Your profile
Qualification: You have a completed degree (Bachelor's) in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, industrial engineering, nautical science or a comparable qualification as a shipping merchant (m/f/d).
Experience: You have 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally with a connection to the maritime industry or the German Armed Forces.
IT skills: You are characterized by your confident handling of MS Office and sound knowledge of 3D-CAD programs (preferably Siemens NX).
Security & Mobility: You possess a valid security clearance (at least Ü2 VpS) for handling classified information (VS-NfD) and are willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
