We are currently looking for a specialist in radiation measurement technology and radiation protection (m/f/d) for our client in the field of nuclear engineering at the Karlstein am Main site (two days home office per week are possible).
The position is initially limited to 18 months within the framework of temporary employment, with the clear intention of being taken on by the client.

Your tasks
6. Preparation of expert reports and applications for the storage of low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste in the Konrad repository
7. Performing radiation calculations and applying radiation protection measures (alpha, beta, gamma and neutron radiation)
8. Assessment and documentation of radiation exposure and measurements
9. Examination of and compliance with the relevant regulations, in particular on radiation protection and the Atomic Energy Act
10. Documentation and tracking prior to the disposal of radioactive waste drums
11. Support in the implementation of repository conditions in accordance with the Konrad concept
Your profile
12. Completed studies in natural sciences or engineering
13. Sound knowledge of radiation measurement technology, radiation protection and radiation calculation (alpha, beta, gamma, neutrons)
14. Experience in nuclear technology or comparable specialist knowledge
15. Good knowledge of German regulations on radiation protection and the Atomic Energy Act
16. Experience with the final storage conditions of the Konrad shaft - desirable
17. Systematic and analytical way of thinking, high ability to concentrate
18. Business fluent German and very good English
